9/11の公式見解とは矛盾する“最良の証拠” ―暴かれた9/11：『外部調査委員会』による調査からの抜粋―
国際⑦ オサマ・ビン・ラディン氏とハイジャック犯たち
9/11同時多発テロ事件の公式見解の中心は、テロ攻撃が「オサマ・ビン・ラディン氏によって考案され、ビン・ラディン氏のアルカイダ組織のメンバー19人によって実行された」という主張であった。
それら19人の男たちはすべて、ビン・ラディン氏のように敬虔なイスラム教徒であったとされ、同グループの「首謀者」（ringleader）であるモハメド・アタ氏はきわめて信仰心が強いとされていた。
しかしながら、オサマ・ビン・ラディン氏についてのそうした主張は根拠がなく、またハイジャック犯とされる者たちに関する主張は偽りであることを示す証拠がある。
●FBIは、オサマ・ビン・ラディン氏の容疑であるテロリスト行為の一つとして、9/11を挙げていなかった。
●モハメド・アタ氏が2011年9月10日、11日にメイン州ポートランドに行ったという主張は、それを疑わざるを得ない幾つかの理由が提示されている。
●ダラス空港のカメラにハイジャック犯5人が映っていたという主張は、スタンプが押されていない画像やセキュリティーのビデオとしては速度が速すぎることで否定された。
●モハメド・アタ氏とハイジャック犯たちが「敬虔なイスラム教徒」だという主張は、彼らが酒、コカイン、ストリップクラブを利用していたとのメディア報道により否定された。
●アタ氏が2000年6月に米国に到着したという主張は、軍の極秘の「テロリスト」追跡活動である「エイブル・デンジャー」が彼らは2000年1月～2月に到着したという事実を明らかにしたことで否定されている。
⑧ 9/11航空機からかけられた電話
9/11同時多発テロ事件当日、航空機の乗客と乗務員から電話があったという主張は、9/11の公式見解に不可欠であった。
その見解によれば、
●政府高官たちは、それら航空機のうちの1機がハイジャックされていることを、機内にいたテレビコメンテーターのバーバラ・オルソン氏から、彼女の夫でテッド・オルソン司法長官への電話で知った（注17）。
●航空機からの電話は、ハイジャックがどのように発生して、機内で何が起っているかについての情報源であった（注18）。
●たとえば、バーバラ・オルソン氏からの電話の一つは、ハイジャック犯とされる者たちが「カッターナイフを持っていた」という報告の、唯一の情報源であった（注19）。
初期の報道では、通話の一部は機内電話からされたもので、そのうちの15本が携帯電話からかけられていた、という（注20） 。しかし、様々な調査研究によって携帯電話からのものと報告された通話のほとんどは実際に不可能なものであったとする事実が示されたことから、FBIは2006年までにそれらの電話のうちの2本だけが実際に携帯電話からのものであった、と明言した（注21）
⑨ インサイダー取引への疑問
9/11同時多発テロ事件から1週間後、BBCは次のように伝えた。
「英国の金融行動監視当局である金融サービス機構（FSA）は、先週の凶行以前にロンドンで起きていた異常な株価の動きへの調査を開始した。『ロンドンタイムズ』紙は、米国当局が、航空会社と保険会社の（9/11前の）株式の異常な大量売却を調査しているという。それらの株式が同時多発テロ攻撃の近いことを知っていた人間たちによって売却された疑いがある、と言われている」（注22）。
定評のある金融ジャーナル誌に掲載された3つの計量経済学の論文が、これらの疑惑を裏付ける異常な取引を伝えており、またそれらに対する専門家や政府の反応も否定的なものではない。
【結論】
「フェイクニュース」についてはこれまで多くの議論がある。フェイクだとする主張の中には、それ自体がフェイクであるもの、逆に真実であるものもある。21世紀におけるフェイクニュースのこれまで（2018年）最大の例が、9/11の公式見解である。
我々は、その後に世界中で数百万人もの死者を出した「テロとの戦い」の根拠として利用されている9/11に関する米国政府および大手メディアによる政治宣伝の猛攻に、何年間も晒されている。それは中東、南アジア、アフリカの国々を攻撃する口実として利用されている。
それは、イスラム教徒が同時多発テロ事件を起こしたとして非難されて以来、イスラム嫌悪が大幅に増大する事態に至らせている。それは、米国における市民的自由への取り締り、巨額の費用のかかる国家安全保障機構の膨張、大規模な恐怖と不安の拡大、世界を核対立へと駆り立てている恒久的な戦争状態へと繋げていった（注23）。
そのストーリーを、正しいものに置き換えるべき時期はとっくに過ぎている。 (完)

デイヴィッド・レイ・グリフィン（David Ray Griffin）
デイヴィッド・レイ・グリフィン（1939/8/8～2022/11/26）は、米クレアモント神学学校およびクレアモント大学院の宗教哲学および神学の名誉教授で、プロセス思想の探求と普及を目的とする「プロセス研究センター」の共同所長であった。彼の編集した「Constructive Postmodern Thought」のSUNYシリーズは31巻発行された。彼は30冊の著書を出し、13冊の本を編集、250本の記事と文章を執筆した。最近の著書には、『The American Trajectory: Divine or Demonic』、『Bush and Cheney: How They Ruined Americaand the World』及び『Unprecedented: Can Humanity Survive the CO2 Crisis? 』がある。
エリザベス・ウッドワース（Elizabeth Woodworth ）
